I was born and raised in England. Around 8 years old, I moved with my family to America. Most of my life was pretty much engrained in academics. I became a professor at age 27 teaching American History & Political Science. I had no idea then that soon after, I would be fully immersed in the art world. I became a band photographer, which quickly led me to start filming and editing. That skill unexpectedly launched a career in New York as a corporate video editor for Reuters News. When I began building my roots in Los Angeles again, I continued working with both musicians & artists. It led me to collaborating with Jonny Lang on his album cover, creating a photo look book for the All American Rejects to shooting and editing mood films for designer Savannah Miller. Currently, I’m working with a couple of known and on the rise hip-hop artists with video content. You can view all this on my Instagram account @ella_hovsepian
